An Australian with an unfortunate resemblance to a neighbours personality, you'll have to forgive Jase's apprehension when asked to play Kylie. But that's not to say he doesn't appreciate the 80's.
His music taste - forged on dancefloors across Europe and his hometown of Perth - draws influence from the seminal eras of New York disco and house. Piano chords. Syncopated basslines. Brass solos. Bongos. Expect to hear it all through selections ranging from funky disco, deep house through to camp underground techno.
When he's not behind the decks, he's usually occupying a dancefloor somewhere, supporting the local Manchester scene he now calls home. 'For me it's all about community. Whether in the wider LGBT+ scene or a local club dancefloor, being in tune with what's going on around me is essential. So to have a dance floor moving as one, focused solely on the present moment... that's my passion.'
