Your favourite village venue has pulled out all the stops this Bank Holiday Weekend with a stellar line up of DJ’s, drag queens, vocalists and comedians to entertain you.

GAY VILLAGE WEEKEND AT EAGLE
27-30TH AUGUST 2021

Entry is free all weekend but we would ask you to consider making a donation to the Manchester VLBA fundraiser which is in place to support the vital work and services provided by the LGBT Foundation and George House Trust.

 

Buckets will be available on the door, or you can make a donation online.

Please note that our traditional door policy to enter the main Eagle and Black Eagle Bars applies throughout the entire weekend.

FRIDAY

12:00 - 08:00

We’re kicking off the party on Friday night with early doors DJ sets in The Lodge Bar from Dave Ritson and Roger Da Silva, and then downstairs in the main arena from 10pm with DJ’s Jase Jeffrey and a late night set from 1am with Roger Da Silva.

SATURDAY

12:00 - 08:00

BLOOM STREET STAGE

Our outside stage and bar is hosted all day by drag queen Miss Penny, with DJ Toni Lee on lighting and sound. We’ve performances throughout the afternoon and early evening from an array of talent including Britain’s Got Talent semi finalist Rob King, and local vocalist Paul Walker, alongside comedian Myra DuBois and drag queens KY Kelly, Mary Mac, Marsha Mallow, Sandra and Shania Pain. We’ll be polishing off the day at 9pm with a performance from dance vocalist Kelly Wilde and friends.

EAGLE BAR

Saturday see’s us up the stakes when 3 powerhouses of drag comedy take to The Eagle Stage. Joining our resident hostess KY Kelly from 3.30pm is cabaret legend Lola Lasagne, followed by finalist and star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Season 1 – Baga Chipz, all topped off with a full show from Eagle favourite Mary Mac.

Moving inside we’re open until 8am with DJ sets from the awesome William Sizen Bell from 10pm, followed by Dave Ritson from 1am.

SUNDAY

12:00 - 08:00

BLOOM STREET STAGE

Sunday’s outside stage again see’s Miss Penny returning to host and with DJ James Bowers on light and sound. Performances from boy vocalist Jordan Smart, along with drag queens Belinda Scandal, Kara Van Park, KY Kelly, Misty Chance, Verry Cherry and Vicki Vivacious are order of the day and we’ll also be providing a stage for the immensely entertaining Tania Alboni – the UK’s best respected Cher impersonator. Closing things off outside we’re excited to welcome West End star and singer Alison Jiear, the voice behind the huge LGBT anthem ‘I Just Wanna Fucking Dance.’ She’ll be performing live at 9pm.

EAGLE BAR

Things heat up on Sunday with Sunday Service getting underway from 3.30pm, hosted again by KY Kelly with performances from Sandra and Miss Penny.

Sunday’s DJ sets inside are from James Bowers and Dan Walker from 10pm.

MONDAY

12:00 - 03:00

EAGLE BAR

Moving into the final day, and on Monday we’ve indoor cabaret from 3.30pm hosted by KY Kelly. She’ll be welcoming Myra DuBois and Mary Golds to our stage!

 

We’ll be taking a respectful breather for the vigil at around 7pm, but will be swinging back into action straight afterwards at around 10:30 when KY Kelly performs her annual ‘Club Classics’ show.

Our big weekend finale comes to a close at midnight when dance ICON and popstar Heather Small (The voice of M People) performs in the main bar.
